Sex in the Office…a Forbidden Thrill by Louisa Masters
We’ve seen the movies, we’ve read the books. Some of us have seen it happen and maybe even been part of it. The office romance.
Why does the office romance have such a stigma attached to it? Probably because so many times, it’s ended acrimoniously. It’s hard to maintain a good working relationship with someone you’ve broken up with. Often, it’s hard to be in the same room with them!
And there you have it…the thrill of the forbidden. There’s a strong attraction between you and a colleague. You both feel it. The electricity when your hands touch. The sizzling eye contact. You want so badly to sneak off somewhere and explore this fascination, but you know it can only lead to trouble. The solution? There isn’t one. You can risk possible disaster, or you can restrain yourself.
If you’re going to restrain yourself, I strongly recommend reading a naughty office romance to tide you over. Or better yet: writing one. Take your situation, spin a fantasy and pour it out on paper, so you can visit it over and over.
The best part about writing an office fantasy is the scope of sexual situations. You can have sex in places you never normally would. Some of the favorites in the office are the swivel chair, the boss’s desk, the supply cupboard and the copy room (specifically on the photocopier). Up against a window also seems to be popular. Mmm, imagine that…especially if the window is tinted or one-way glass. Thousands of people in buildings around you can’t see what you’re doing, pressed against the cool glass…erm. Excuse me while I fan myself.
A lot of people have discovery fantasies, and the office is the best place to indulge them. Your colleagues could be walking past just outside the door. There’s a strong possibility that they’ll walk in any second. You need to be quick, you need to be quiet, and you need to keep people from guessing later on.
Maybe your fantasy involves your boss. You could be “in conference” in an executive office. Maybe a private bathroom? Or the couch where so many important clients have been entertained.
The possibilities for office fantasies are endless, and a lot safer, career-wise, than acting them out in real life.
With her resignation submitted, Jeannie Price has one last task she’s itching to perform before leaving her job. After months of sitting next to hot, sexy colleague Tim Harding, it’s time to turn fantasy into reality with a scorching invitation to collaborate on matters of the flesh in Conference Room B. Then she can walk away without regrets.
Tim’s dreams of wild, sweaty sex with Jeannie come true when he accepts her offer, but he’s stunned to learn she doesn’t want to see him again after their steamy tryst. She may be trying to brush him off as just one more item on her To-Do List, but he’s determined to convince her there’s nothing taboo about inter-office relations.
A born reader, Louisa discovered her love of romance at an early age and began sneaking her mother’s romance novels by age twelve. A sucker for a happy ending, she was often disappointed by the lead up–not enough sexy stuff. Where was the anticipation, the flirting, the tension? Her solution? Write it herself.
Living in Melbourne, Australia, she is renowned for complaining about the weather and the calories associated with eating ice cream, but has learned to ignore both and enjoy life anyway. Visit Louisa at www.louisamasters.com
