Can I be honest and tell you that the first sentence that I wanted to write for this blog was Happy Earth Day! I hate everything…
But let’s try a Remix shall we?
Happy Earth Day let’s take a minute and appreciate the green grass, the blue sky, the endless ocean…thick, eight inch cocks. Is that better?
Speaking of cocks…and when am I not? I’m smack dab at the end of finishing my second erotic novella for the month…oh wait didn’t I tell you? I’m trying to write two novellas a month. Who needs a brain? Mine is now at the exact consistency of porridge, yes I said porridge.
But I digress…
Let’s get back to the cock. So the first novella that I have finished and submitted is called “Lily’s Father,” and let me tell you that this is going to cause a bit of a stir. My publisher put out a call for a Father’s Day centered romance and at first I thought, “um, No!” Then I started thinking and an idea came to me. It was born from the intense amount of ridiculous construction that was going on where I live at the time. Literally, the entire town had been torn up as if a council sat around and said, “Let’s destroy this place shall we?”
I was at a stop light and surveying the destruction when the idea hit me. What if this entire disturbance somehow drew the attention of some vicious creature that lived in the woods and then the creature came and ate everyone in the town…oh wait that was just my fantasy. I am at heart a horror fan must admit that most of my writing springs from rather gory, scary ideas that I then have to find a way to turn into romance. Why not just write horror? Well, is there really a horror book out there that really isn’t a romance at some level? Dracula may be the most romantic thing I have ever read, Frankenstein? A total romance. However, I’m off topic…again.
Therefore, I changed the idea of the beast eating everyone into something a little tamer. I read a while ago, no sorry, saw on the news a story about a little girl who was playing on her swing set in the backyard when a coyote came out of the woods behind her house and dragged her off into the forest. Luckily her parents got her back…in my story my hero isn’t so lucky. I will say that in my story the daughter does return…and when she does; my hero realizes his nightmare has only just begun. So where’s the love? You’ll have to read it to find out. Now if only my publisher would get back to me…My assistant said, “Wow, you’ve literally taken the Father’s Day theme and spun it right on its head…”
“Lily’s Father” has a lot of good, hot sex scenes, lots of yummy man meat and to me is an incredibly sad and lovely story…well it is in my opinion, we’ll see what everyone else thinks.
Now as for the second novella that I am wrapping up; this is called “The Good Cop” and let me tell you this is all about cop cock and what’s tastier than that? I have a cop in the family so I had plenty of resources to pull from. This one is a bit dark. Michael my hero is struggling with a severe case of posttraumatic stress disorder, drinking, nightmares, and the inability to forgive himself. Lots of pathos here, which was unexpected. I love this story but it was a tough write. My two guys Michael and Angel made me work for this story and boy am I glad I did. Their love story is quaint, poignant and hot…is that even possible? Well, you’ll have to let me know.
So I’ll end by saying again, Happy Earth Day…give Mother Earth your best because as my mother says, “you only get one Mother.”
