Why Erotic Romance?
Why do we love erotic romance? I mean, some people don’t, and that’s okay with me. But I like a mixture on my TBR pile. Sometimes I want that sweet romance, words just about the characters in the small town living and not too much about the heat. Other times I want it slightly elevated in the heat level so that way I can enjoy it does little bit differently, but still not too hot. At other times I need a glass of water when I read a book.
And that is why I love romance. There’s always something for everyone. I write erotic romance, but not too erotic. Some may think that my writing is too hot the others may think it’s too tame. It’s all subjective. The vessel whole point right? What you think is hot may be tame to others.
The characters are hot and yes they have sex, that’s okay with me. It’s natural. And yes my characters are paranormal, meaning I can get away with more things. A lot more growling, maybe even some sex in the air…
Yep, in Dust of My Wings I have a sexy Angel, meaning, I may get to fly and do some naughty things. Well not me, just shade and Lily. But it’s fun living through their experiences rate?
But why is it that we love to read them? Deeply yourself in the situation? Or do you just like watching? See now that sounded naughty, and I didn’t really mean for it to be. I love all different kinds that heat level, but sometimes, I just need that against the wall, bent over a table, enjoyable ride.
And yes, I meant in books.*wink wink*
So tell me, why is it that you reader erotic romance? What is it for you that brings you to this genre? How hot is too hot?

Dust of My Wings Excerpt
Lily huffed out a breath and placed another tile. “I don’t hate my job, exactly. It’s just not that big of a deal.” She gave a triumphant smile. “And I win.”
Shade looked into her eyes and groaned. Damn, she was sexy when she looked so confident.
“Indeed you did. Congratulations, Lily.” Now for the part that could hurt them both. “How about I buy you a cup of coffee as your winnings?”
Lily looked taken aback, but Shade didn’t budge. He needed to know exactly what she knew about this dust. Breaking into her lab and stealing it would do nothing if the die were already cast.
“Oh, you don’t have to do that. In fact, I really don’t even know you, so I can’t. But thank you.”
She gathered the tiles quickly and started to stand up, but Shade touched her wrist. She jumped, knocking a few tiles back on the table. A jolt of electricity ricocheted through his arm and they both gasped. His erection pressed against the zipper of his jeans and he groaned, but he didn’t let go. Lily’s breath quickened and her pupils dilated. Her strawberry scent wrapped around him like velvet, intoxicating.
