When I write a book people ask if I write character sketches or profiles, do in depth back stories, and the like. No. As a pantster I like to discover all of that while I’m writing the story. Having spent twelve years trying to break into the film industry as a screenwriter I don’t do those things. What I do is ‘cast’ my book. Who would I like to play my hero? My heroine? The villain?

How Many?
M/M. M/M/F. M/M/M. M/F/M. There are so many different combinations. These are just a few. I have to say though that my favorites are the ones with the men involved with each other. There are some really great M/F/M romances, but those aren’t for me as much. I read them though if I can find a good one. I have one that I’m writing and I’ll admit that it’s fun. I do enjoy M/M/F from time to time. I mean…two men loving each other AND loving a woman and her loving it all? That’s hot. It has to be written right and there are few masters at it. Samantha Kane is one of them though. Lady can write.

Please tell us about your current release.
Patience launches my sexy quintet of novels, TABOU, a saga that spans 100 years on four continents and recounts the erotic Odyssey of Jocelyn Russet, the 27-year old brewing heiress born in London and raised in the Virginia countryside.
In each book, Jocelyn meets her destiny on one big night, when her fate turns on secret histories and forbidden encounters with a different woman every time. The novels interlock, as in The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell, and they can be read in any order, thanks to the Prologues that open each novel and the indexes that help readers keep track of the cast of characters. The whole project hearkens to the heyday of the 19th century novel, where readers could immerse themselves in detailed worlds peopled by dozens of characters. Edgy, modern action and full-spectrum erotic writing updates the series to give it a “classic modern” feel.

Succubi Love With Louisa Bacio
A Date with Death isn’t a succubus story. The concept though – being made love to by a ghostly visitor – has haunted me since reading Anne Rice’s The Witching Hour. A few of my unpublished stories play with the theme, and the underlying concept surfaces with this novella.

The Hero Side of the Story
Thanks for having me on Erotica For All! For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Skye Warren, author of dark erotica and erotic romance. I’m here today to chat with you about the hero point-of-view and to share my new release, Hear Me.
All of the books in the Dark Erotica series are written in POV of the heroine… usually deep first-person POV. This is necessary to present both the psychological aspect, as well as the suspense/thriller parts. Sometimes I wonder: what would be different if we could see through the eyes of these men?
After all, these aren’t ordinary heroes, ordinary men. They’re anti-heroes. Dangerous, mysterious. Occasionally even cruel. [Read more…] about Guest Blog: Skye Warren

A Quick Question About Controlling Heroes
This is a quickie to celebrate my quickie. I’d like to talk about control. How much is enough? My latest little short has a BDSM element layered into my alpha wolf story. No, to be an alpha you don’t have to be a Dom, but…it sure helps make for some good fun.
