Perhaps it’s becausePrague is the capital of the historic Kingdom of Bohemia, and if there’s one thing you can call Milan, it’s Bohemian.

Although The Thousand and One Nights has two main characters, there is a third – the beautiful city of London. I’m lucky enough to live in one of the worlds most fabulous metropolises so it was great to set my first Secret Library book there. It was also an inspiration for the story where my heroine Breeze Monaghan has to keep millionaire Sebastian Dark satisfied, as did Scheherezade in the 1001 nights, in order to save her skin.

In support of ‘watersports’
During the second week of my two week blog tour to promote my new book, ‘Alice in Fetishland’ I’m discussing some of the diverse themes related to the book.
I want to use my blog today to discuss the place of watersports in erotic writing. Now, I’m conscious all publishers I’ve come across have this as a taboo subject. I also understand that often this is as much down to the distributors as the publishers and, well, if nobody’s going to distribute your book you’re a bit scuppered. I enjoy writing watersports scenes! They can be fun, dirty or intense, however you want to play them. But I’ve always ended up having to cut them out of my stories, as I did from my original draft of ‘Adventures in Fetishland’, which had a couple of them in.

The Road Trip from Hell by K D Grace
One rule of travel that I now live by whenever possible is do NOT do a road trip with family. It can only end in tears, and believe me, I speak from experience. Mind you there are a few exceptions. My sister is great fun to travel with, as long as she has her trusty flask of coffee and as long as you keep the map away from her. She can’t find her way out of a paper bag with a map. The other exception is my husband, whom I LOVE to travel with, but he’s my family by choice not by chance, so I’m not entirely sure that counts.
