Article first published as Book Review: Transported: Erotic Travel Tales by Sharazade on Blogcritics.
I’ve had this luscious book of naughty travel tales on my to be read list for a while, and I’m glad I finally had chance to delve between its covers.
Transported contains nine erotic short stories, all based around the theme of travel. Unusually, they’re all written in the second person perspective, but although this is sometimes an unpopular choice, it didn’t dampen my enjoyment any.
Each story is a different sexy scenario, many of which are risky encounters – all of which are very erotic encounters! There is sex in tiny, cramped motel rooms, on a train, at a table in a crowded conference room, on the beach, in an airport shop, a bookshop, on a plane, in a hot spring pool and a quiet area of an airport. The travel theme means that they lend perfectly to the snatched moments here and there, the risk taking, and the urgency.
My favourite story was Flaws, an incredibly hot tale about a woman, a train and two hot men. I’ll say no more than that, other than it’s smokin’!
Overall, Transported is well worth a read for fans of erotic short stories, particularly if you like them in unusual and exotic locales.
