Humor in Erotic Romance?
I’m a romantic at heart. I love romance and I love all things that make a woman sigh and even tear up. I am an avid fan of the steamy sexy romances, which is why I love writing erotic romance. When I write romance, I like letting that side of me free, but I like humor as well. So this creates a very interesting mix in my mind. My main characters tend to be real, witty, sarcastic, funny and snarky. They are real to me. I love visualizing the fun interactions between them. A good book has to keep me entertained and that means a good story with interesting characters and fun dialogue. Not everything can be intense all the time or I end up exhausted. This can be a good thing or a bad one. Some people don’t handle the humor well, but since I write what I love, there is humor, steamy sex, and an interesting plot in each of my books.
