Here’s an author interview with A.D. Hutchinson. Take it away, A.D.!
Where do you draw your inspiration from? Mostly from friends – I won’t name any!
Do you have any unusual writing rituals? No I don’t actually, just a comfortable place to sit and then I get down to business!
Where’s your favorite place to write? In the winter I use the dining room after meals – you can’t write well on an empty stomach! And then in the summer I enjoy writing in the garden – the fresh air can really get the writing juices flowing.
Who is your favorite character from one of your stories and why? My favourite character is Rachell from Life on Top. She is incredibly determined to achieve her goals in life; she knows exactly what she wants out of every day and she is not afraid to let people know what she does for a living! You’re either with her or against her, but either way she will get try her hardest.
How do you get yourself in the mood to write? I think of memories of people I once knew and people I’ve been close with. Character’s tend to materialise out of people and events that I’ve known in some form or another.
If you could bring one of your characters to life, which one would it be and why? It would have to be Pascal from Life on Top. He’s super rich yet he knows how to treat women with respect. He lavishes them with gifts and he loves to wine and dine. What a gent!
Which author, erotic or otherwise would you love to meet and why? That’s tricky, because I love Jackie Collins, but sadly she passed away. So I would have to say, Barbara Taylor Bradford. I am in awe of their success as authors and have read almost every book written.
What are you working on at the moment? I have a new novel in the works currently titled ‘The Girl Who Made Wives Jealous’. I think the title speaks for itself, but I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all.

Blurb:
Rachel was an ordinary girl, living with her sister in a small block of flats. She was just about to start a new career as an air hostess when her life unexpectedly exploded into a new world of adventure, men and lots of money, following a chance meeting with Maggie; an attractive woman working as a high-class escort in London. Rachel liked what she saw and wanted what Maggie had; rich, handsome men falling at her feet. Can Rachel live the life of luxury too? What will her sensible sister Mel say? And how many hearts will get broken along the way? Read the story of how a girl gets swept away in the highs and lows of high-class escort living. Can money really buy happiness? Book one of a racy trilogy.
