In the third of a series of interviews with authors from Smut by the Sea Volume 3, I’d like to welcome Sybil Rush. Take it away, Sybil…
If you could go on holiday to any beach in the world where would you go?
I’ve heard that the people in Rio de Janeiro are the most beautiful in the world, and that’s something I’d like to see.
What’s your favourite beach memory?
While swimming at Stewart Beach in Galveston, TX, I saw dolphins leaping out of the water. It was exhilarating, and a bit scary, to realize I was in the water with such big, powerful, graceful and magnificent creatures.
You’re taking a stroll along the sea front, what are you eating?
I’d more likely be drinking a beer.
Who would you like to see in skimpy speedos/ teeny tiny bikini?
I’m not a giant fan of speedos. I’d rather see a hot guy either in boardies or completely in the buff. Let’s see, my biggest celebrity crush would have to be Viggo Mortensen, but imagining him in a budgie smuggler just makes me giggle.
On the beach do you prefer sunbathing or more vigorous activities?
I like everything, all the way from lying on a towel next to my honey and a cooler full of the aforementioned beer, to jogging, wading, swimming, or frisbee.
Sun or shade?
In temperate Australia, where I live now, I prefer sun. Back in Texas, where it’s broiling hot, shade. But like Lily says in my story, if you’re at Coogee Beach, be sure to protect your skin! The Australian sun is treacherous.
What inspired your story in Smut by the Sea vol 3?
The fantasy of a menage between a wife, a husband, and his best friend is one of my biggest turn-ons. And…parts of “Never Too Late” were inspired by real events, but I’m not going to reveal which parts.
