Book three in the Point Vamp Series
A crazy vampire or an ice-queen human, it’s not much of a choice but it is the one Kyle has to make.
Kyle may be undead, but he still lives at home with his Gran and works in a supermarket stacking shelves with his mates. His life hasn’t changed much, apart from being dead and having to suck blood from live humans to survive.
Luckily he knows The Point, a vampire bar where the humans are hot, tasty and eager to please. Well, most of them are. Janine is the exception. She is cold and distant, but from the first time he meets her, Kyle is smitten.
But he has a problem. A hot but crazy female vamp has got him in her sights and she’ll stop at nothing to get him all to herself.
Kyle has a decision to make and it will change his afterlife forever. Who will he chose?
Reader Advisory: This book contains Blood Sucking, Neck biting and other violence.
*****
Excerpt: “This is the boss’s room, Sharon. I don’t think we should be in here.”
“Oh, Kyle, you’re sweet. The boss lets me use this room when I like. I’ve been in security a long while now and he trusts me.”
“Oh, okay.” I found myself surrounded by the attractive vamp. She had her body, arms and legs around me so there was no possibility of escape.
“Anyway, less talking, more fucking.” She smiled, lifted a brow and wrapped her arms tighter around me.
Pressing her lips to mine, she halted the words of protest where they were. She kissed well. She used her whole mouth, and, being a full-blooded vamp, I was not completely cold to her charms.
Well, actually I was. Two vamps having sex is pretty cool, icy almost, as there is no body temperature at all. Her expert hands moved over me, dipped into my pants and were disappointed to find so little going on in there. “Someone’s shy,” she tittered. “I can fix that.”
She threw off the floral, fancy dress she was wearing. It was gathered at the waist and with shoulder pads I could use to shelter under in a storm. She was definitely a child of the eighties. Underneath the trip down memory lane was no underwear at all.
She had flawless skin, white, soft and creamy. She must have been turned at the peak of her beauty. “I was nineteen,” she said, snatching a glimpse of my thoughts. Some vamps can do that, but it is not a precise science. It takes years to get a relationship between vampires to a level where they can communicate effectively without words, but it can happen randomly among any group of vampires.
“I wanted it and came here to get it. The vamp was a gent,” she said, laying my hand on her breast. “We were lovers for many years.”
I just nodded, not sure what to say. I don’t really think she wanted me to say anything. She was busy pulling me out of my clothes. I know you may be thinking I should have resisted her advances. I am sure you believe that I should have waited for the girl I really had come here to fuck. Well, I am sorry, my body betrayed me. She was gorgeous, she was fondling me and her grip on my cock soon brought it to life.
Her face lit up as she swung her slight frame over me and pushed herself down to fuck me. I held on to her hips as she thrust and I closed my eyes tightly. I am not proud of my actions, no, but I could not look at her. I simply wanted it over. Her fingers pressed to the juncture of her thighs as she bounced. She gasped, moaned and cursed. She was totally into it and totally unaware that I wasn’t.
I imagined Janine. I know, I know—I was wrong, so wrong—but that is what I did and when I came it was the image of her face screwed up in ecstasy that I could see. “Wow,” Sharon gasped, “you really have some staying power.”
I smiled as she clambered off me and put her dress back on. “I do my best to please,” I replied with a wry smile and hunted round for my clothes. “Oh, you please all right, lover,” she purred. “I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you. Sadly my shift starts in five minutes, though, and Hugh will throw a fit if I’m late.”
Hugh’s the head honcho around here; he owns the club. I’ve run into him a few times. He has a gorgeous human mate named Elizabeth, happy couple they are, so there is hope for human-vamp relationships, apparently. “See you, lover,” she called as she walked back into the corridor. “Don’t hang about in there. Hugh gets really pissed off when vamps use his room.”
I hurried out and slammed the door behind me. She had bare-face lied to me before about having permission to go in that room and I sure as hell didn’t want to get into an argument with Hugh. I loved The Point too much to get myself kicked out of it.
I know I am a vampire, dark, brooding and all that, but I try to tell the truth or, as had just happened, try to avoid telling lies at the very least! My gran brought me up properly and, by heck, even as a vampire I was determined to do right by her.
