I’ve read a few of BL Bonita’s books now and have always enjoyed them. A Thug’s Love is no exception.
It tells the story of Chase Carter, an enforcer for one of the biggest crime syndicates in Toronto. He’s carrying out one of his jobs when he interrupts a near rape. What makes this even worse is that the woman in question is his boss’ daughter. Acting fast, he takes her to his secluded cottage so she can hide out, until he figures out how to get her home safely. The trouble is, he’s been attracted to Sam for a long time, and being alone with her is tough. Especially as it turns out Sam feels the same way about him, and she’s a very determined woman…
A Thug’s Love is a hot short story from BL Bonita. It combines suspense and passion seamlessly, and is a whirlwind journey from beginning to end. It doesn’t feel rushed, though, which is the best part. Having said that, I’d definitely like to read more about these characters and what life is going to throw at them next. I’d recommend this book if you like your erotic romance with some danger included.
