The Games Destiny Plays is part three of The Last Good Knight five-part story by Tiffany Reisz. If you haven’t read the previous two books, I wouldn’t recommend reading this review, as there will inevitably be spoilers – you’ve been warned ๐
Lance ends up seeing the bruises and welts Nora is sporting from her time with her ex, and furiously demands to know what the hell is going on. Unable and unwilling to lie, Nora tells Lance about her true nature, that she’s much more complex than she first appears.
Understandably shocked, Lance ends up divulging some secrets of his own. This intimate act leads to them giving into their lust, in spite of Kingsley’s orders.
This is possibly my favourite section of the story. It’s erotic, of course, but also very intimate and emotional, and I found myself really rooting for the budding relationship between Nora and Lance and hoping that the danger to Nora would pass so they’d have a chance at being together. Lance is a very sweet yet sexy man and it’s easy to see why he pushes Nora’s buttons. More hot stuff from Reisz – recommended.
