Or how the digital world made my career
Seven years ago when I made my first attempts to get published, the digital world was just dipping its toes into the ebook fiction waters. I was having frustrating results—as in no results—with the more traditional print publishing and wondering if anyone would ever read my stories except me. But several members of my RWA chapter were e-published and convinced me to submit to one of their publishers.

With a new book out almost every month in this New Year of 2013, I am really into men and heroes in a big, big way. I want to tell you what I really love about them and what you can tell about a man by the way he treats his woman.
I love them (and don’t you too?) in any shape or form, as long as they love to be loved and give it right back.
Caught In The Act
Thank you very much for hosting me on Erotica For All today. It’s a pleasure to be back.
Have you ever been caught in the act? By act, I mean, having sex. I haven’t, but with two young kids, it’s something that is always in the back of my mind. I don’t want to traumatize them.
But what about by friends, or even your parents? Does that possibility add to the excitement of it? Maybe…
What if you’re on the other end? You’re the one catching the couple in the act. I’ve been there. No, it wasn’t my parents. Thank goodness! But still a bit traumatic. It’s been a while since I was in high school, but that was hard to forget.
What is it About Demons?
I’ll be the first to admit, I’ve always had a thing for demons…the sexy kind of course. 😉 When I was a teenager I watched a movie called ‘Legend’ over, and over, and over again. Now, I don’t know if this qualifies me for therapy, but I always wanted her to end up with the evil demon prince instead of a young Tom Cruise. I mean come on, this kick ass and seductive lord of darkness or a guy in a whole lotta body glitter and a pretty gold skirt. 😛

Wild Thunder by Kacey Hammell is an erotic short story published as part of Decadent Publishing’s The Edge series.
It’s a spin-off of her Illusions series, but it still works as a standalone, for the most part. This is the story of Shanay Gold and Ethan James. Some serious trouble went down in Ethan’s life, so he escaped to a cabin in the Shenandoah Mountains. The trouble is, he’s been there for weeks and people are worried about him, not least his parents. So Shanay, who adores Ethan’s parents, heads up there to see how he is, and to try and convince him to return to civilisation.
Things don’t go exactly as planned, however, and Shanay ends up on Ethan’s doorstep, soaked to the skin and freezing cold. The sparks fly between them, but they both try hard to remember the reasons they never went past friends-with-benefits; they don’t want the same things for their futures.
The close proximity brings feelings to the surface for both of them, and soon they give in to their passions as the storm rages outside. But can they resolve their issues, or are they destined never to be together?
Wild Thunder is a great little read. It’s a quickie, but it’s incredibly sexy, well-written and believable. Kacey’s writing is very engaging, so if you enjoy short erotic romance tales, then you should definitely add this book to your eReader.

When I started writing Sudden Breakaway, I knew I wanted the story to take place at a hockey game. I love hockey, and thought it would be cool for the hero and heroine to meet at an arena.
