In the Eyes of the LawIn the Eyes of the Law is an erotic romance short story by Ashe Barker. It tells the story of Libby and Josh. They’re an almost-divorced, estranged couple. Things have been over between them for some time, but when they bump into each other again under unusual circumstances, things take a turn for the unexpected. It seems that the spark between them is still there and that maybe, just maybe, there’s no real reason to finalise their divorce.

This is a really great little story. It’s laden with heat and intrigue, and keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. I really liked the characters, and enjoyed what Barker managed to do in a relatively short space of time. Overall, I’d highly recommend this kinky yet romantic story to those who enjoy spanking romances.

Stepbrother's RulesThis is a risqué tale – as it deals with a stepsibling relationship. This doesn’t offend me in the least, and I really liked the story. It’s an intriguing tale  – set in the 1950s – of a stepsister who ends up being kicked out of her college dorm. With her parents away in Europe, she ends up staying with her stepbrother – whom she’s lusted over for years. They weren’t brought up together, and don’t see each other much, so there’s no weirdness. I don’t want to say too much more and give the plot of the story away, but this is a very kinky tale with ageplay on top of the stepsibling relationship. If you’re okay with this, then what you’ll get is a well-written and very erotic story.

This is a very sexy spanking short with a tongue-in-cheek undertone. I enjoyed the author’s writing style, the characters and the storyline, and would definitely seek out more works by this author.

But now, being thrust back into it makes her realise that actually, she misses it. And when she bumps into someone that surprises her, will she be tempted to give it another try? Or was the damage done to her too great?

This is a great little story. It’s intriguing and well-written, with likeable characters. I was eager to find out what happened next, whether Kirsten would indeed conquer her fears. Overall, a book I’d recommend to fans of kinky reads.
