Today the authors are answering this question… Are you hoping to write more M/M in the future, and if so what can we expect from you?
Ashe Barker
Definitely. I love writing about hot men who find their soulmates. My next MM adventure is going to be a fantasy novel, and my hero will have a distinctly wicked side, but he’ll be kinky as hell too. I’m looking forward to getting my teeth into him.
M K Elliott
Yes, definitely! I love writing m/m. My first time, rock-star novella, Rocked will be out in 2016, and Breaking the Marine is also out as an individual novella.
Lucy Felthouse
Oh yes, absolutely. I love writing M/M stuff, so there’ll definitely be more. As for what… who knows? I often don’t know what I’m going to work on next until I actually start, so it’s as much of a surprise to me as it is to everyone else. We’ll just have to wait and see!
K D Grace
Yes. I’d very much like to. I have a secondary character in my present WIP who has had relationships with both men and women. He’s wonderfully loyal to his best friend and has schemed to help the man find and keep the love of his life against some pretty horrendous odds. As I’ve watched his character develop, I think he has a story to tell that will involve a male lover and finding his own HEA. I’m very much looking forward to writing that story. And, of course I’m hoping there’ll be another Brit Boys anthology next year. 🙂
Lily Harlem
Yes, there will be more from me – short stories, novels and MMF. Look out for Heat of the Day which is out on 19th January (MMF), Who Dares Wins (MMM) and Caught on Camera (MM) which is a five part series, part one is FREE.
Ashley Lister
I’d love to write more M/M in the future. As soon as I know what challenges I want my character to face, I’ll let you know more.
Sarah Masters
Yes, although I have no idea at the moment what I’ll be writing. In 2016 I plan to only write what grabs me. I’ve had a couple of years of “having” to write and produce series titles, so now it’s time for a “freedom year” where if a story pops into my head and I want to write it, I will.
Tabitha Rayne
I really enjoyed telling Kel and Damien’s story and I absolutely love the power dynamic when it comes to the physical side – you can put a lot of strength and really ferocious passion into a m/m that can feel different to m/f. Of course in m/f either partner can be dominant but physically, with m/m the tussling and wrestling can feel more brutally equal so the dominance can go either way in certain scenes. I hope that makes sense!
I loved having the guitar as an extra character which I guess plays the role of Cupid. I might explore the theme of objects bringing people together again in an m/m story.
